In case you missed it, I am retiring! My friend and fellow Realtor, Diane Sugdenis an excellent choice to help you with future real estate needs. She regularly covers for me during vacations, and we do a lot of co-listing and co-buyer representation. I know she will work hard for you and in your best interest.

Detail-Oriented Real Estate Expert

If you are seeking a Realtor who is a good listener, knowledgeable and thorough, look no further. I am a full-time Realtor with 19 years of industry experience and 90% of my clients are either repeat clients or referrals. My clients won me the Seattle Magazine Five Star Award for Client Satisfaction 9 years including 2014 through 2020. If a challenge arises during a transaction, you'll find that I’m a skilled problem-solver. Contract strategy and negotiations are my expertise.

My office is on Bainbridge Island and most of the work I do with home buyers and sellers is on the island. But I also work regularly in the N. Kitsap County communities of Poulsbo, Indianola, Kingston and Suquamish.

Over 35 Years of Sales Experience

My 35+ years of sales experience contribute to my ability to effectively troubleshoot in any situation. Prior to real estate, I earned a B.S. in Speech Communications from the University of Missouri, graduating summa cum laude. I had a successful career in the radio business, starting with radio advertising sales in St. Louis and Dallas. Working as SE Regional Manager for The Arbitron Company, I handled multi-million dollar radio audience research contract negotiations with radio stations and groups. I also managed a sales team covering one-quarter of the U.S. Then I became a consultant to radio and TV stations before finding this rewarding profession of residential real estate sales. I earned my Managing Broker License and became a Certified Negotiation Expert and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative.

Active Community Member

I am a humanitarian and an optimist, which is why I've been an active member of Rotary for 19 years. I have also volunteered for seven years as Chair/Co-Chair of the fundraising committee for Cedars Unitarian Universalist Church.

Fun Times

Outdoor fun for me is golfing, kayaking and paddle boarding. I also enjoy crabbing and salmon fishing with my life partner, Doug, and often treat clients to fresh crab and smoked salmon. On a rainy day, you'll find me experimenting with a new recipe for dinner, and like so many people I have recently taken an interest in baking.
